Start and discover scuba diving
Be an Scuba Diver!
Have you always wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater? If you want to try scuba diving, but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, Discover Scuba Diving is for you. PADI dive shops offer this program either in a pool, off a beach or from a dive boat. You can try scuba close to home or while you’re on vacation at a dive destination. While not a scuba certification course, Discover Scuba Diving is a quick and easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world.
To sign up for a PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience, you must be at least 10 years old. No prior experience with scuba diving is necessary, but you need to be in reasonable physical health.
Discover the beauty of Phuket Dive sites
The Similan Islands, located about 100 kilometres North-West of Phuket, are a chain of 9 stunning small islands. The islands have achieved national park status and thus are fully protected under Thai law. The Similan Islands national marine park is widely recognized as the best diving in Thailand, and most would agree that the reef and marine life is some of the best in Asia.
Palong Wall - Phi Phi
Palong Wall is located on the west side of Phi Phi Leh the sister island to Phi Phi Don. This island is not lived on besides a few birds nest collectors and rangers which monitor the beach as its a well known tourist destination for its sheer beauty and the fact it was one of the locations where the film The Beach was filmed starring Leonardo Di Caprio.
Shark Point, Phuket
Shark Point consists of five pinnacles of which we dive two as the others are a little deeper around the 20m mark and spread out over a large area. The two we dive are known as pinnacle one or two. Pinnacle one is raised above sea level and has a small automated light house on and is usually the entry point on the NE. In one dive you would normally cover both pinnacles, and they are stunning, some of the most densely covered coral areas I have ever come across, with a large variety of soft and hard corals and a large marine life including leopard sharks.
