Koh Bida Nai and it’s neighbouring pinnacle,Koh Bida Nok, are the most popular dive sites of the Phi Phi Island group for good reasons. Most dives begin at the southern points and it’s up you you whether you take the western or eastern side depending if there is any current.

The western side offers a beautiful wall covered with amazing soft coral and drops to 25 metres. At the end of the wall you’ll find rock outcroppings with swim through’s. The eastern side is more gently sloping and leads you to a field of stag horn coral, follow the stag horn to discover Fantasy Reef; a hidden gem covered in soft coral and schooling fish which is a favourite hangout for leopard sharks. Whichever route you take you’ll find many different kinds of moray eels, lionfish and there’s a great chance of a friendly hawksbill turtle. Keep your eyes open on the safety stop as black tip reef sharks cruise the shallows.

Best Time to Dive at Koh Bida Nai
Koh Bida Nai is open all year round but the best month to visit if from February to May where the temperature is at it’s warmest instead of going from December and January since the water temperature is at it’s coldest with its 27°C temperature.
Upon Arrive from Phuket International Airport, you’ll need to fetch a ride whether by bus or taxi, though preferably by taxi since the trips is almost an hour or so. Your next destination by then would be on Phi Phi Don and board a boat that shall travel to Phi Phi Island. Once you’ve arrived you’ll be riding another boat to head towards Koh Bida Nai
