Koh Bida Nok

Koh Bida Nok and it’s neighbouring pinnacle, Koh Bida Nai, are two of the most popular dive sites of the Phi Phi Islands. Most dives start in or around the small bay or lagoon at the southern point of the island.

Koh Bida Nok - Phi Phi

"Covered in fan corals, funnel corals, this is a favourite hang out for lionfish and scorpion fish."

Extending to the southwest is a beautiful strip reef sloping gently down to 22 metres. Covered in fan corals, funnel corals, this is a favourite hang out for lionfish and scorpion fish. Head over to the west side for a stunning wall dive with the shoals of snapper and the rainbow runners and jacks hunting the glass fish and silversides.

Spend some time cruising the sandy bottom extending out from the lagoon and look for elegant leopard sharks, Kuhl’s stingrays and the always entertaining and frisky pharaoh cuttlefish. Don’t forget to look up as you may well see a large school of Fosters barracuda circling above you!

Current at Koh Bida is rarely stronger than moderate and as most dives are planned as boat pick up dives so this is seldom a problem.
